Jill Anderson will present her annual Celtic Cabaret with a new twist this St. Patrick's season. The themem will be Irish humor. From bawdy to witty to wise, the Irish have always had a wry take on the state of their existence. Come and enjoy songs that tell of wild brawls, hysterical ance mishaps, uproarious wakes, comedic culture clashes and many other ludicrous subjects. These engaging songs couples with memorable jokes, and playful poetry as well as some of the less silly ballads and favorites from years past promise and evening of great fun!
Jill will be accompanied by Bernie and Erin Lowis who will provide fiddle, bass, piano, guitar and cello (not all simultaneously!).
The two venues this year are unique and wonderful: the elegant music room of the dazzling and historic Joslyn Castle and the intimate and casual confines of PS Collective in Omaha's Benson area (food will be available for purchase at PS Collective).
Tickets are $20 each, or $15 for groups of six or more.
Wednesday March 17th at 8 PM at PS Collective (6056 Maple Street)
